Event Details

Join Social Media Club Seattle (SMC Seattle) as we welcome popular blogger, web strategist and SOBCon Founder, Liz Strauss to the Pacific Northwest. Called the “Titan of the Web 2.0” by the World Forum, Liz has helped educate audiences around the world on topic related to social media and technology.

Note: this is a last minute SMC Ed event for a limited number of people. We do expect this event to sell out quickly.

More about the event:

Whether you're on the social web for personal or professional reasons, being able to spread your message is mission critical. And there's a fine line between sharing and spamming and sometimes finding that balance between sensational and authentic can be tricky.

Liz will share best practices on how to "be irresistible," and get people telling your best story. Afterwards, we'll open up the floor for a rich discussion where you can bring your best stories on how you've used social media to connect in ways that resonate. Be prepared for a lively conversation where you ask questions, share stories and above all build relationships with the local Social Media community.

Thank you to our sponsor, Swedish!

It’s not often you get the opportunity to build a new hospital from the ground up. But Swedish/Issaquah isn’t just a new physical structure, it’s new philosophically, too, offering Eastsiders a new way to be well, get well and stay well. With advances in technology, an environmentally friendly design and new hospital infrastructure, the campus was designed to be different. We are thrilled to be able to meet the health-care needs of the community with this new medical center in the Issaquah Highlands.
